If you have the addresses of your customers, is it worth the effort & cost of sending out a personalized Christmas card to them?

To send out to all your customers would be £££££££ Sad
but to send out to your best customers says: thank you for your trade  Kiss

In this modern age of email & portals, is it not good to be traditional at Christmas?

Customers do appreciate the simple things like a card that says thank you, we care about you.

Any thoughts?HuhHuhHuh?/

While it's nice to send Christmas Cards to people it is also, in some ways, expected. What I suggest is that, instead of, or in addition to sending out Christmas Cards to your clients, why not send them a Thank You card at an unexpected time. And make it a real card (recycled of course). In an age of advanced technology where you can send an e-card perhaps too easily, a card in the post with a stamp on it really shows you've gone to some effort, and that value your client's business. In short, to send a Christmas card is nice, but to send a Thank You card is inspired. If they're a truly great client, why not offer to take them out for lunch or even buy them a bottle of champagne? Make sure you register your gifts with your accountant though - you wouldn't want to be accused of offering bribes for business! Happy New Year!

It is also a nice thing for the employees of a company to receive Christmas cards from their boss.
